Chloe and Scott came to me with the most dreamy fly fishing engagement session idea and I could not have been more excited to get to be a part of making their vision come true! We knew that Crested Butte would be an ideal location to make this adventurous couple session come to life.
Chloe and Scott drove up to Crested Butte, Colorado all the way from Dallas Texas to have me photograph their engagement session. From there, we woke up around 4 am to get to a pristine location for these two, just in time for the sunrise to peak over the high alpine mountain tops.
I love when I hear from my client's that they had a wonderful time, and their session felt like a romantic date.
That's what your photography session should feel like! It should include spending time together, laughing, running, dancing and overall taking in some quality time while making memories that will last a lifetime.
As an avid angler and hopeless romantic, I don't think I could have dreamt up a better session to tell the love story of Chloe and Scott.
From a sunrise fly fishing backcountry adventurous morning, frolicking in a glowing meadow to tying flies at Crested Butte's T-bar I loved capturing the carefree love story of Chloe and Scott.
A little on Chloe + Scott's story:
They locked eyes on each other for the first time in a fly shop in Golden Colorado, and the rest was history. Their date nights included fly tying into the wee hours of the night and dreaming up their next objective and species to chase.
And here they are today after Scott proposed as Chloe was standing on a skiff down in Florida looking for permit.
I can't wait to watch them continue to pursue each other and chase all their next exciting angling adventures.
I love when my clients want to tell their love story during their sessions. Here is your tip to make your session your own!
